Soriana - Afra e Tobia Scarpa - Cassina

Stunning vintage Soriana lounge set in original cognac patinated leather.

The Soriana series was meant to express beauty and comfort by using a whole bundle of leather held by a chrome-plated steel clamp.
The "Soriana Chair" was the first piece designed in the series and won the Compasso D'oro in 1969 for its design.

Condition :
The seats were reupholstered with the original cognac leather taken from a set of Soriana lounge chairs (the longer version).
Nice patinated leather and still a very good foam. Both seats are labeled.
One seat has a repair to the leather. This is barely visible because it is in a fold of the leather.
