Informel - Hans Hopfer - Roche Bobois

This rare, vintage 'Informel' sofa features the same high-quality craftsmanship, comfort, and aesthetic as the renowned Michel Ducaroy ‘Togo’ design from Ligne Roset. Upholstered in the original black leather, this piece captures the iconic style and plush comfort that made the Togo a design classic.

Hans Hopfer was a German designer known for his work with Roche Bobois, a French luxury furniture brand. He gained fame in 1971 when he designed the Mah Jong sofa, one of the brand's most iconic and modular seating systems.

Condition :
The sofa is in a good, well-preserved condition. It exhibit the normal, age-appropriate wear and patina one would expect from furniture of this era, giving the leather an elegant, time-worn appearance that complements the sofas' vintage style.
The leather has a minor repair that is barely noticeable due to the relaxed style of the upholstery.
