“To sit watching television without setting foot on the coffee table.-to open this armchair and, from being a simple object, to transform it into a sail which floats in the middle of the room- to lie down, to read, to love, sleeping wrapped in a plaid. Transforming the space around us by folding this leaf- shaped object is one of its characteristics: the magic carpet that folds in four like a blanket and opens like a leaf fluttering in the air.”
